About

Toronto Realtor Heikki Walden specializes in the representation of buyers and sellers in the Central Toronto real estate market.

Heikki’s previous career in the field of real estate valuation and his ongoing studies in the field of interior design gives him a perspective on selling real estate that differentiates him from most real estate agents, and makes him a valuable resource to his clients.

Benefit

Heikki’s experience, education and training bring you a double benefit. First, he will help you establish an accurate market value for your property. If you are a seller, he will also make suggestions as to how to substantially increase the market value of your home. As a buyer, Heikki will help you find hidden value in a home. In addition, he will bring these skills to the negotiating table and help you negotiate the best possible price.

Heikki’s goal for sellers  “To sell your home at the best possible price, in the shortest amount of time, with the minimum of inconvenience and hassle to you.”

Heikki’s goal for buyers  “To listen to your preferences and needs as a buyer and locate the ideal home for you, in the neighbourhood most suited to you.”

Experience

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Heikki worked as a consultant in a real estate valuation company providing appraisals for major Canadian banks and mortgage lenders. This included resale homes and condos, rural and vacation properties, investment properties, and new homes and condos across the “Golden Horseshoe” area of Southern Ontario, which includes all the neighbourhoods of Toronto Megacity, the Greater Toronto Area, as well as surrounding municipalities as far as Hamilton.

Heikki’s training allows him to provide his clients with accurate opinions of market value. This is particularly important in the older, more well-established neighbourhoods in Toronto where there can often be wide differences in value on the same street.

Heikki has personal background in income properties, and has been involved in the purchase, financing, renovation, and management stages. He has experience dealing with solicitors, home inspectors, mortgage lenders, and insurance brokers. As a result, he is able to offer advice on all aspects of your real estate transaction.
